WaYS is looking to hire a Wabanaki college student for a hands-on internship rooted in Wabanaki knowledge, land stewardship, and public engagement. You will work alongside National Park Service staff and Wabanaki Cultural Knowledge Sharers to help shape how the stories of the land and Wabanaki people are shared.
Location: Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument
Duration: May – September 2026 (20 weeks)
Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week)
Pay: $20/hour + $1,000/month housing stipend
