Since 2013, WaYS wskitkamikw Earth Camps have brought hundreds of Wabanaki youth together with Cultural Knowledge Sharers and western science educators on ancestral lands for hands-on, land-based learning. Students explore cultural knowledge, witness environmental impacts, build kinship, learn ways to care for the environment and so much more!
We are excited to share the confirmed dates and locations for our 2026 wskitkamikw (earth) camp programming.
🌱March 20 – 22 at New England Outdoor Center, Millinocket (rescheduled from the January)
🌱May 8 – 10 at Bigelow Laboratories for Ocean Sciences, East Boothbay
🌱July 13 – 17 at Medawisla Lodge & Cabins, Greenville
🌱October 16 – 18 at nibezun, Passadumkeag
